Things
to do
|
| |
|
A few steps from
the apartment brings you to the yacht marina which is
full of beautiful boats and surrounded by bars, restaurants
and shops. You can sit by the water enjoying a drink and
watch the world go by. Or perhaps take a boat or fishing
trip and see what you can catch.
At night have a meal
in one of the many and varied restaurants overlooking
the water. English, Spanish, Italian, French, Chinese,
Thai, American, they are all there.

Castillo
de la Duquesa |
| |
|
Castillo de la Duquesa
is about 5 minutes walk along the sea front from the apartment.
It's an old Spanish village named after the castle, now
a ruin at the back of the village.
Explore the winding
streets built when the horse and cart was the main form
of transport. Visit the old Spanish Church, still in use
and try the original and traditional spanish restaurants,
where the locals still eat. Or just sit in the central square
and drift back to when the world was a different place |

Sabinillas
Market |
| |
|
|
Walking five minutes
the other way from the apartment along the seafront brings
you to the town of Sabinillas. This bustling lively town
has just about every kind of shop and restaurant and all
the banks
On Sunday the Sabinillas
market is the place to be, a facinating array of stalls
selling some real bargains!
Sabinillas has a wonderful
beach that is never crowded, and affords views towards Gibraltar
and on a clear day, Africa. |

Marbella
- Puerto Banus |
| |
|
|
Marbella is only 20
minutes by car and while there visit Puerto Banus Marina.
More superyachts than you can imagine, and full of "beautiful
people". Maybe you will see a famous TV or Hollywood celebrity.
Or maybe you will just see their fantastic cars. There are
many good restaurants, though a little expensive.

Estepona |
| |
|
|
Estepona is only
5 minutes by car and also well worth a visit. Again the
yacht marina is the place to be with its many restaurants
and shops.
Steeped in history
and culture the town remains unspoiled and future development
is carefully planned to ensure the preservation of the town´s
identity. |

|
Gibraltar |
| |
|
|
It's only about 30
minutes to Gibraltar, an absolute must see, if only for
the amazing tax free shopping. Why not go twice? Because
from "The Rock" you can take a day trip by sea to Tangier,
to visit the Casbah. It's very cheap and only takes 35 minutes
and it makes for a truly memorable day! |

Sevilla |
| |
|
|
Further inland is
Seville, a beautiful old Spanish city full of history and
culture. The world famous Andalucian horses are trained
here. Book to see a show and see the beauty and grace of
their exciting performance |
