Q. How do you pronounce Duquesa

A. Duquesa means Duchess and is pronounced "DOO-KESS-ER"

A. What if  I need a doctor or dentist.

Q. Is there somewhere to get any help or assistance.

A. Yes. Duquesa Estates at the end of the slip road will provide you with help and assistance. They are all English and they know the area very well.

Q. Where is the nearest bank and cash point machine

A. On the marina about 5 Minutes walk from the apartment

Q. Where is the nearest grocery shop

A. There is a large modern supermarket directly across the road behind the complex. There are many more in the local main town of Sabinillas three Minutes in a car  just down the road. Local shops are in the old Spanish village two minutes along the beach.

Q. What are the rules about using the gardens and pool.

A. The beautiful tropical gardens and lagoon pool are a haven of tranquility which is part of the charm of the complex, and we dont want to spoil this for our guests and the other residents. You are very welcome to use and enjoy the garden and pool and all the facilities. But please be aware that these apartments are also occupied by permanent residents who every year are invaded by lots of noisy tourists. While the residents understand that you all want to have fun. Please be thoughtful to others.

     1. Ball games such as football are not allowed.

     2. Inflatables are not allowed in the pool.

     3. Only use the pool when the lifeguard is on duty.

     4. Do not push people into the water

     5. Keep the garden gate closed to prevent unauthorized access to the private gardens.

     6. If you smoke in the garden please take your ash and cigarette ends away with you

     7. For safety, do not bring glasses or glass bottles into the garden

Please do not make any unessesary noise in the gardens, and do not play loud music.The beach is just outside the  garden gate and there you can play and make as much noise as you like.

Sun Loungers cannot be reserved by placing a towel on them. The security guards will remove them to the office.  The only way to reserve a sun bed is to sit on it. Please put the sun beds away after you have finished using them.

Q. May I dry washing on the balcony

A. No, the balcony must not be used for drying washing. Laying a towel down in the sun is ok as long as it cannot be seen from outside the apartment . Please use the laundry room at the back of the kitchen for all washing and drying.

A. In the shops around the marina there are lots of information books, free on request with lists of guided bus tours and prices, and advice on how to get the most from your holiday.
